Yep amazing what happens when you have a roster with a good number of upper classmen.

2 seniors and 2 juniors is hardly a good number of upperclassmen. It was a good system and talent that helped us win with OP.

The video is for the 2009-2010 season, which is the last season OP coached here. The video features Trevor Booker, our 6th straight win over SCar, and making the NCAA Tournament for a 3rd straight year among other things.

it happens doesnt change the fact that you attack Brownell without giving him a real shot. Meanwhile you are in love with a coach that left in the middle of the night because he was caught with his pants down.
He didnt even have the guts to tell his players they had to find out from the media.

Lawd, I miss Purnell...

Seriously. Clemson bball was fun to watch with him at the helm - even 05-06 when we were not very good. His style of play really was an equalizer for us....tournament results be ######. I don't care so much about not winning in the tourney, getting there was fun. Clemson bball cannot expect the same as Duke/UNC...Purnell did a lot of good for us.

That is how I feel now. I didn't like the way he left, but can get over it. He knew how to win here and sell Clemson - despite the facility issues people claim all of a sudden that we have.

the reasons he really left weren't publicized.
Also his current team is a joke and I seriously doubt OP could've done any better of a job with Milton and Co than Brownell did.

100% correct.
Guy left in the middle of the night due to his wife catching him with his pants down.
It says everything you need to know about the man that his team had to find out he was gone through media instead of from his mouth.

It's amazing how it's gone from a "great basketball venue" to "we need a new arena" in a few short years. Nothing like winning to make your facilities look great.

Littlejohn is great when it's full

but when it's completely empty and you're giving a prospective athlete a tour, it's a lot less impressive than most venues.

It never was a great basketball facility. OP faced an uphill battle from a facility stand point as well.
Our player facilities are complete ####. Hell we have to practice half court if our Women and Men want to use the facility at the same time. That is just sad.
