Sure.
That year, the general sentiment on the board was that the ACC absolutely sucked. The ACC was bashed all year, and many people talked about the mountain west being way better than the ACC. Even the net had the mountain west as the better conference.
We then get an all conference player from the mountain west and again the sentiment was that he wasn't good. He was a terrible get, and he came from a bad conference.
My post was showing how these posters were hypocritical. You cant say the mountain west is better than the ACC and then complain about the same conference as being crappy when we get a transfer.

The ACC was bad and the MWC was better
Heidbreder was an all MWC conf player but still wasn't that good

The ACC is a better conference than the MWC.
We picked up an all-conference player from the MWC.
He didn’t live up to the all-conference player hype and has since transferred out again.
So you agree he was not a great pickup by the portal master?
But yet we should be excited by the next wave of mid major portalers that are coming in?

Clemson guard Jake Heidbreder enters transfer portal. And now he is in the transfer portal again. This is something that the NCAA really needs to get a grip on. It should be if you enter the transfer portal, you must stay at that school for a minimum of two years or be hit with a non-recoverable penalty of one year before you can play with your new team. Yes, I'm saying that if they transfer within the minimum two-year rule, they will lose that year of eligibility that they had to sit out. That should make guys be absolutely sure they're going to where they want to be when they transfer!!!
