Clemson basketball fans are much more resilient

than Clemson football fans. A basketball loss Tuesday is forgotten by Thursday. That’s a positive, I think, as putting losses behind you is important. Repeatedly bringing losses up really accomplishes nothing.

It’s hard to believe but they often play 2, sometimes even 3 games in a calendar week. Who knew?

Personally, I forget basketball losses BEFORE they even happen. It's a coping mechanism I have perfected in the Brownell era.

Road games in the ACC are just hard to win, I don't ever really expect too much. We really need to take care of business at home.
For example, I think we'll win our next two against FSU and GT, but a noon game on Saturday, at Pitt? I'm chalking it up as a loss, it is what it is, just a hard game to win for whatever reason. If we win it great, if we lose it, so be it. I just don't want to get blown out.
Tennessee just went down to Florida and got absolutely smoked by 30 the other night. If they play that game over at Tennessee, Tennessee probably wins, home court is so powerful in college basketball. Crowd energy is a real thing and players feed off of it, especially when you get on a big run.

Thats a fantastic point FM. But lets not forget that basketball fans have much practice with how to deal with losing than football fans. In fact we have had 155 more times to learn how to cope with losing in BBall since 2010
Practice makes permanent

At this point, the kneejerk reaction after every loss is laughable. It is an isolated five or six dudes who sit in their underwear at their keyboards in their basements and constantly type -- Fire BroWnell. Suddenly a team that is 12-4 overall and 4-1 in the ACC is mediocre and it is time for the coach to be fired. Look around the country. Tennessee, the No. 1 team in the country, got beat by 30 Tuesday night. Kentucky beats unbeaten Florida on Saturday then gets beat by Georgia on Tuesday. The Lunatic Fringe needs to go back on DC Watch and sniffing football jocks. The Lunatic Fringe -- Isis Without Bombs.

Clemson football fans won't put up with it

Um, this is a post made several months ago and saved on the tigernet server. I’d figure a superfan like you would know that.
I guess I’ll check my Google search engine to see if it’s tracking your posts correctly. 🙄. Please let me know how to do that.
Time to switch my ID. LOL!
