Recruiting:Fact

Clemson has really changed Signing Day for me in recent years. Dabo has the knack for pulling stud recruits out of a talent-laden Magic Hat. The fact is that we will land numerous of our key targets. This staff is "as genuine" as a Coaching Staff can be and recruits feel that. Move past the kids that have waivered or changed their minds. The staff will assemble a very solid class and we will have some future NFL players putting on a Clemson lid that day.

I have tremendous confidence in Dabo as a recruiter, and you

are probably right. We only have 16 commits now, and he said he expects to sign 21-24 players, so he apparently knows something we don't, and that too bodes well. Still, only having 16 commits at this stage has me a little nervous.

Dont get your hopes up

The reality is one or two of the 11 will commit to Clemson. Its a numbers game and we almost always get about 1 out of 6 or 7. Even with just one or two its still a good class. I would like to see 35 commits like A&M and the rest of the $EC. Follow the example the $EC has laid out - over recruite your way to success!!

Where do you get the 1 out of 6 or 7? Last year we only closed with 1 but we were only in on 2 or 3 as signing day neared because of numbers. This staff is very good at closing when they are going after players on NSD. I think you will be very surprised how well we finish.
Commits on NSD: 2012: Reader 2011: Anthony, Byers, Steward, Region, Roberts 2010: Howard, Parker

ummm DJ Reader was the best freshman in last year's class and arguably the best freshman on the field in the CFA bowl.

Reader was no better than like the 11th best rated prospect in last year's class. No sure what you're talking about.

ratings mean jack $4!+. DJ Reader was a beast. Can't wait to see him on the pitcher's mound a few weeks.

Don't shoot until you see the whites of his eyes. Well, he's a bit jaundiced, but you get the point.
