Recruiting news and questions

I follow a lot of our “clemson” recruiting on various sites from rivals to 247 and I’m just not getting very good vibes on some recruits lately that are in the current class. Nobody seems to be sure projected to clemson and such. I’m curious as to why? Is it the NiL stuff? Is it failure on consistency putting people in the NfL at certain positions? Is there any negative recruitment against clemson ? Etc

NIL is definitely hurting us, especially with 4 & 5 star guys. To my Knowledge OL is only position that our lack of success hurts us in recruiting and yes there is always negative recruiting against us, but is normal in recruiting so same can probably be said about most schools.

I don't have any answers for you, but, you can bet the house, the wife, the kids, the dog, and the farm that Clemson is being negatively recruited against at every angel that coaches can possibly come up with, and it happens on a daily basis especially with FB recruiting!!!

As a pure guess i would think the mindset today for recruits is to get the money and get it now. I think this replaces the first thought of who can advance my game and get me into the NFL. If a player has a injury free career in college then the pros is just icing on the cake. Unfortunately it's all about which cash register rings the loudest.
