Yeah they may want to reevaluate that whole weekend in June thing. Seems like it was a big waste of time this year. I know it did well for them in the past but looks like most of those guys who left with an offer just went elsewhere and let them beat it. Maybe it's too early now. Who knows.

This is an important reality to embrace. Until there are enforceable parameters in place for NIL and pay for play within the sports' governing body, if we attempt to go head to head here in bidding wars we will come up short and go broke in the process. We will never have the cash resources of many of the larger schools with larger alumni bases. Ever. Our path forward to gridiron success must rely more on the experience and long-term rewards for choosing Clemson over other opportunities. Should conditions change to better level the playing field in terms of finances, which is critical for the long-term prospects of the sport, we will be in an excellent position. Until then, we have to stand out in other areas, which is what we are doing.
