I have no interest in watching the WNBA but am looking forward to the WCWS. However, in a month all college sports will be done for the year and the NBA will be winding down. They gotta put something on TV and you can only broadcast so many cornhole tournaments.

And softball have gained a lot of viewers in recent years is thanks to the extra attention it has gotten.
For some reason WNBA is the only women’s sports where people still openly make fun of and mock it. Not sure where the hate against it comes from tbh.

Those poor WNBA #s are likely a little inflated and in reality even worse than they appear. Two or three-year years ago they were making news by whining about the WNBA/NBA wage disparity and later WNBA/European women leagues wage disparity. The company where you work is deep in the red but you decide to public b–––– about your pay. You are getting paid to produce a product for which there is no demand. The NBA continues to subsidize the league. To what end?
BTW, WCBB continues to lose money but did enjoy some extra attention because of Iowa's somewhat Cinderella run in the tournament when they were led by a ball dominant PG with unique shooting range for the women's game–
