Many highly competitive people have a bit of arrogance in them. It doesn't mean they are bad people with no redeeming qualities--they are just annoying.

I pull for the Browns (due to Mack and Michael Dean). I really dont care for Mayfield. They work hard in their ads to make him like able. He isnt.

Agree with the like ability factor. It WAS a great story how Baker believed in himself and kept at it going from no major offers (I think) to one (or was it two?) transfers to Heisman to #1 pick.
But now the story is old. He was the #1 pick and the chip and attitude is getting old. Now he is more or less a d1ck.
Burrow has a way to go for d1ck status.

In his greatest moment with the nation watching, he dedicated his trophy to the poor people in the county he grew up in.

As far as being “Christ’s anointed team”, no rational Tiger has said that. If you are referring to some of Dabo’s statements, please note he never said God chose Clemson over an opponent.
Dabo believes that he has been ordained to be a leader, and if he follows his savior, he will experience fulfillment. That doesn't mean winning football games. Instead, it means being a great coach, a great husband, a great father, a great son, a great brother...a great human. And anytime he experiences success in his endeavors, he is quick to thank God. Those who do not like him say he is saying God chooses Clemson over other football teams. He never said that. Everybody knows the Hebrews are God’s chosen people. Duh.

Yep I would. He says humble things and cried etc etc. He praises his team, his family, the fans. His team says how humble he is. He is known as a class act. Of course you wouldn't think so. Too classy.

He seems very arrogant. His remarks give the impression that he thinks is the smartest player out there. Very condescending in my opinion. He gives very little credit to opposing players.
