So, I fully expect Neon Deion to slow his OWN roll after

this season. How? When he starts dumping his CURRENTLY underperforming players for MORE transfer portal refugees. You know it's going to happen. And, given the North Carolina case, we already know how the NCAA feels about two time transfers. So, he is setting some kids up for a hard road, and the kids themselves will start to publicize it. So, relax. Even if the unsustainable happens and his band of merry misfits continues to win this year, it's a One Hit Wonder.

I'm curious to see how his team performs against the tougher competition. My guess is his defense will give up a lot. The Colorado offense better put up over 40 a game.

If you look at the Colorado schedule, tougher games are on the way. Deion will run out of neon....bank it.

That was a given. They weren't supposed to be amazing this year. They have already done well. They won 1 game last year. If they win 7 games this year is will be a great accomplishment.

They've got Oregon and USC the next 2 games. He deserves some credit for pulling Colorado out of a 1-win season from a year ago. But it'll take time to actually build a program capable of competing for championships.

You may be right but it's worth noting that Deion

hasn't, to my knowledge, run off a single kid that HE brought in.
To think he's going to turn his roster over every year intentionally is a bit of a stretch at this point.

Respectfully disagree and also believe his portal usage is going to slow down by design. Deion can recruit and will have the people in colorado ready to open their wallets. He wont need nearly as many portal players once hes racking up 4 and 5 star talent. If you build your team through the portal you run into the problem of putting a bandaid on a wound that needs stitches. Depth becomes a major concern. The portal used effectively would be to get a player here or there in place to allow a younger player to develop in your system, imo. Deion can use his hype and notoriety to attract this generation, they wont be disappearing while he is their imo.

The man's a winner. Clemson fans should know this ...
And stop bagging on coaches who use the portal. It's like sitting in a cave in the dark, bagging on people who use electricity.

The roll will slow because they won't finish 1-11 ever again

Deion hit the "factory reset" button to get the painful part of washing away a 1-11 roster done all at once.
It won't happen like this ever again because he has far more talented players than last year. Going forward, like every D1 roster in the country, some guys will transfer from CU for various reasons but Deion won't run players off en masse ever again.
