Real Question: Is Shane Beamer 2024's Version of Young Dabo?

Both Dabo and Shane appear to be genuine men and men of Faith. They have a sincere friendship (as do their wives), and since Shane has been in Columbia, it appears that both teams have at least mustered some semblance of respect within the rivalry.

To my question, Shane seems to be less an X's and O's coach (like Dabo), is good behind a Microphone (Like Dabo -- maybe Better), and knows how to sell his vision for his program. Also, as Dabo was the perfect choice for Clemson as he built our program, Shane seems to be better equipped in how he is embracing the NIL/Portal era that continues to plague Clemson and Dabo (not entirely Dabo's fault IMO).

I see many similarities and clearly -- whether we like it or not -- He is building something at SCAR. They still have an uphill battle in the SEC, but anyone with two eyes can see they're not the SCAR of old right now, especially with Sellers at QB for the next few years.

Anyone else see this parallel?

What amazes me is all I could hear before from coot fans was how bad our schedule was and how we were no good and should not be ranked 12th I even agreed with them because we are not that good. With that being said you now all I hear from the coots is how they beat a good Clemson team. Can’t have it both ways. If we suck then you must suck too. Ha ha
