I haven't checked Rivals or 247, but according to ESPN, he's the 3rd best recruit in SC behind OL commit Collin Sadler from Greenville and CB Jaedyn Lucas from Mauldin who is uncommitted.

This is a “note to self” moment for Dabo.....recruits like hearing from head coaches.

I find it really hard to criticize Dabo for much of anything, but suit yourself. Clemson had the number one class in the country just last year and we are critical of that? I don't get that, but maybe you are a Bowden fan.

Yes, we need to secure our borders. We need to build a wall and make the coots pay for it.

I wonder if he's a SC guy because of the word "Unfortunately"? I'd use that word in many ways in reference to USuC. However, not being contacted by their football program ain't one of them

Ok, here is what I see, Bama and Florida are clearly major players, as they should be. The season Pitts had shows a willingness to make TE a priority in game plans, not an afterthought.. Also, that Saban guy also seems to know what he is doing. he might be pretty good. 3-4 months ago I thought we were a lock for him; now I'm not so confident.

Thought the same thing...about him being a lock that is. Rivals had an article up that Jake Johnson talks a lot about Clemson. Wonder if Skinner is option 1b since he's a bit of a tweener at TE? Don't think they're taking more than 1 TE this cycle.

Dan Mullen did a great job showcasing Kyle Pitts last year and I’d imagine that probably caught the guys attention.
Would be nice to get a TE threat across the middle that we’ve been missing since Leggett

He does sound like a Leggett type. Might also be nice to also keep Saban from having an OJ Howard.2

In all seriousness I get the giddy the kid feels, having a legend coach call you directly and offer you will definitely do a number on these young kids. Hope we land him though. I have full trust In TE & Dabo to do their jobs. Go Tigers!!
