But rather than be talking about the Syracuse coach and saying “DJ is our QB” after the game, he should have been talking about and congratulating him Cade bringing them back, despite Streeter handcuffing him with conservative play calls. We would not have won that game without Cade or that defensive shutout in the second half, and Dabo wants to reinforce that DJ is our QBs at that moment! Sorry but that is BS. Come on! It was about time there was some accountability (which they always talk about) for making mistakes….you make mistakes and the next guy gets a chance. You see what sitting a series did for Shipley…big run to give us the lead. Great win by guys that were ready to play when called upon. Props to Klubnik and Mafah (and the offensive line) and that defense in the second half. We won this game despite our coaches!

Cade has got the talent but he didn't look good at all. He was 2 for 4 with one almost pick six and an int on a 2pt conversion. What he did do was come in when we needed it and manage the game well enough to win. We should all be happy about that and hope both DJ and Cade are better going forward.

Coach streeter has done a masterful job with the offense this year. He has truly been our MVP. On that note, it was great to see him call a conservative game plan for klubnik. Good not to ruin the young man's confidence so early. The benching will serve to help both qbs.

Dabo’s led this team to 2 NC’s, 7 ACC championships, eleven straight 10-win seasons, and planted another Clemson flag today with an all time ACC record home win streak. This team is 8-0 with a #5 ranking with 2 new coordinators this year and this is your take on the game?
I think Cade will do great things at Clemson but today he was 2/4 with 19 yds and no TDs.

Not changing my opinion. We would not have won that game with the way DJ was playing. I don’t care how you slice it Not to admit that is just plain wrong. Waiting until the last line of your post game comments to give Cade an atta boy is just not smart. Comments regarding DJ being the starter could have waited until midweek.
