Just wondering TigerNets take on him. 247 has him the number 1 player. And I see we are just getting on him a little late, but now are showing a lot of interest. Should we go after him or be happy with bowman and go after Ngata. I know he is the number 1 player but seems like a tough position to be in to pick. Unless we convince Ngata to give up rb and play the slot.

Good Lord! Could you imagine if they did talk Ngata into playing the slot receiver position as you said, and got Bowman, Evans, and Ngata? Pretty sure everyone in college football will hate us more than they do now if that happened.

Even Paul Johnson could win with those 3.

I hope it does happen! Just tough to take 3 top rbs. I’m afraid 1 will decommit. But I trust the coaching staff.

D. Ngata's NFL chances probably would improve w/ a move to the slot; Evans is a LONG shot & w/ DB's verbal, I'd rather see the time and resources spent elsewhere-

We’ve been on him for a long while. We just haven’t chosen to step up our recruitment unless he shows reciprocal interest.

Would you guys rather get Evans and Ngata and miss out on Burch (time spent recruiting), or focus on Ngata and Burch?
I would choose Ngata, because adding he and Bowman to Dixon and Melusi would just be unreal. At the same time, adding Burch and Murphy along with Bresee to Capehart and Williams is just insane to think of with already having Thomas, Henry, Mascoll, etc.
This class could be the class that set us up to continue being in the playoffs and possibly winning more titles. I believe the more titles and exposure we have, the more the highly rated recruits will flock to Clemson.
Now, we do need to keep the staff continuity as steady as possible. Having said that, Dabo seems to have not made a bad coaching hire in a long, long time. I told my dad tonight that if this class becomes what we are all hoping for that I could easily see Clemson winning 3 or 4 titles in the next 10 years.

ZE will put out a top 5 soon. Is there actually any movement there for us?? Seems strange.
However I don't want to chance losing Bowman chasing another RB.

Heads would explode if we pulled 2 x 5* RB's.
