That he is not speaking to the fans. He is speaking to his team, recruits, and the parents of players and recruits. This has been said several times before. As frustrating as it is not to hear the things we see as fans, I totally agree with his approach. The guy has learned from the best and is one of the best EVER. He's not going to let anyone dictate what is said about the program.

Secondly most of us see the last three seasons as disappointing based on preseason hype and talent levels. But I think Dabo compares these seasons to where we were for 30+ years before his hire as HC here
Sure it is disappointing but you have to keep our rough stretch in mind before feeling to down about it.

I have been more in the negative camp this year but in no way do I not want Dabo to be our coach for the rest of his career. I do still believe he will fix the problems. We just need to wait until seasons end to draw to many conclusions.

If he doesn't change a thing and we continue to look like we have over the next few seasons THEN it will be warranted to start making a lot of noise. The last thing I will add is that it is ridiculous to say Clemson fans are acting any differently than any other major D1 programs fans would act right now. Maybe a perennial bottom feeder school might not do this but most moderately successful program's fans would be saying the same thing. So please go easy with the "were going to run him off....Clemson fans are the worse crap". This would be going on just about anywhere right now.

He does always make a statement about being sorry for the fans. And that he knows how important Clemson football is to us. I think the post loss pressers are a good thing to avoid. He's not going to appease frustrated media or fans. And if you really consider the down side of doing that it is understandable. I think it is most important for recruiting.

I don't listen to Deion's pressers. And I'm not a Deion hater. But I definitely see the value in not throwing your players/coaches under the bus to the media. There isn't a single right way.
