and turns the ball over somehow, etc. we'll be in trouble. We need to play smart offense like we did against Wake. I'm confident our defense will be ready to play.

3 turnovers against Wake should have killed us, but our defense played great!!!
If we don't turn the ball over against the Lamecocks... we win. It's as easy as that.

I'm not worried about our D against their offense, its all on not turning the ball over and not giving them free points. If they have to actually EARN everything they get, it won't be much. We get the running game going again it'll be a long day for them.

They have won in the 4th quarter several times this season. We have to play tough and smart for 4 quarters. That running back they have is fast and tough. No turnovers. No silly penalties. No busted assignments. It will end the year on a positive.

I am wondering why folks say records dont matter in this game? Records do matter and the team with the better record has won 96% of the games over the last 40 years. Please do some research before making blanket statements which are factually incorrect.

turnovers and special teams plays but if we dont turn it over multiple times or give them a defensive td (pick 6, fumble, etc.) then we win by 2-3 scores. I've watched Carolina play several times this year and I'd describe them as a scrappy team that plays hard and makes the most of what they have.
Having said that, they really aren't that good though. The defensive is stingy but their offensive by and large stinks and I dont think they can run or throw on us. They'll hit a couple of plays but I dont see them getting more than 10 points on our defense coming from actual drives.
On the other hand, I think we struggle to run ball effectively and DJ has to stay focused and make a few plays downfield.

I pray I'm wrong, but I do see DJ getting shellshocked in this game and throwing 2 picks. Anyone can say what they want, but playing at the roach is tough. Especially at night. The closest environment DJ has seen is NC State, and that's not anywhere close to being what it will be in those first 15 minutes Saturday night. I do think we win, but it isn't gonna be a blowout. 20-16 Tigers.

Ah, any team they played that wanted to win put 5-6 yds/carry on them. As soon as things settle in I think we can run steady and keep them shut down on offense. Interested to see if our passing game travels down to the chicken coop.
