Clemson has more unknowns.

The most reasonable guess to make about this season regarding FSU and Clemson is this -

The FSU offense will be elite. 86% of offense returns. Senior QB who had a good year last year and shows signs of being even better. Top WR, top RB both returning. Improved at WR and TE in portal.

There are more unknowns about FSU D, Clemson O and Clemson D than FSU O.

I expect Clemson to be elite on defense from day one. I expect Clemson O to be elite as well. They have great potential. But, as someone once said, "Potential means you ain't done it yet."

I think by the time Clemson an FSU play in Death Valley that Clemson will be a slight favorite. I hope FSU D is good enough to slow down the Clemson O. But, if you made me mortgage my house today and put the money on somebody, it would be Clemson.
