Wait..........so this CBS Sports writer, who doesn't see Clemson in the playoff (this season), either.......is he considered a "coot" too ?? He agrees with 2 out of the 4 of the piayoff picks, that i think will make it in my personal opinion, that was stated earlier in a previous post. Does that make him a bad person because he didn't pick Clemson?? Honestly, looks like you are in the minority if you think Clemson will make the playoff this season. I want us in the playoffs, don't get me wrong, but are you an "outcast" if you think Clemson isn't playoff caliber, this season ?

… after losing to Clemson last season and forever prior to that.
I think if the “experts” would give Clemson their due respect (not necessarily for CFP) but for their ACC domination until actually dethroned it would go a long way toward muting the criticism.

where we end up. This years schedule looks to be one of the tougher in recent memory. We have the potential to land in the playoff. IF, big IF we can get production out of the defense and wide receivers.
I can’t get mad at these guys projecting us on the outside lookin in because that is our m.o. the last couple seasons. Hopefully, we’re back fighting for the crown!

Remember Clemson helped Ohio State last year by losing to the Gamecocks and that put OSU in the playoff. OSU could get beat by Michigan again and if Clemson takes care of business during the season they could be #4 team. But, it is way to early to even be talking about this.

I lost interest when it said Texas #6 going to the Peach Bowl. Everyone knows Texas is going to their second home, the Alamo Bowl and will be 8-4 at the end of the season...

Clemson is winning the ACC. FSU isn't beating these Tigers this year. The addition of Riley will be just what the doctor ordered for the offense and our DC will be much better in-game in his 2nd full year.
If we stay healthy and get a break or two here and there , we'll be back into the playoff !
