on Nov 7, 2020.
He had receivers that could make plays and get open. End of story.

The reason was; he wasn’t a head-case yet.

Three of those receivers are still at Clemson.

I wonder if this is why Cade isn’t ready yet - he hasn’t mastered the wobbling spinless throw?

A lot of those yards were those short toss-passes that are basically a handoff to Rogers and he ran for extra yards.

You are right. We have virtually no yards after catch or contact by any wideouts now. If they guys can’t get free of a defender with the ball in their hands they sure ain’t doing it running a route.

You are right and I said that all year last year. Who do we have that even comes close to ETN, Rogers and Powell?

Nah, his mechanics are broken, his throws are ugly and he seems confused

They weren't even bothering with coverage late in the game because they knew there was no chance DJ could make a pass.

This also shows par for the course on Ngata and EJ Williams too. Bout the same impact this year as well. We haven't been the same at WR since Powell and Rodgers went pro.

offense, has regressed since then. It's not all DJ's fault, I agree with that, but to pretend that he personally has not played poorly the last two years is some kind of psychedelic dream fantasy. Defending his play at this point is absurd.

The problem is that it's a perfect storm. Bad quarterback play. Bad receiver play. Questionable playcalls. It's not one specific thing. They all feed into each other.

that is a part of it, and a big part. But, if he had thrown as routinely inaccurately as he often did this year (most especially today), he would not have done that.

And he still found a way to lose that game…..and he has gone down hill from that point forward!
