Texas A&M is attempting to buy a NC

They have the money, the rich alums, and the NIL deals to go with it. They're going to buy every elite recruit. UGA might even have trouble keeping up with them.

I trust Dabo, but much of the problems are out of his control. What can we realistically do to keep up? We lack the natural advantages they have.

Hopefully, guidelines come into place, because programs with less resources are going to get tired of this.

A&M has a lot more money than Georgia. But Texas might have even more. A&M was always like the red-headed stepchild in Texas, and it might go back to that. Both coaches will eventually self-destruct anyways, though.

A&M are frustrated little brothers, now and in their SWC & Big12 days. Their alumni will do anything to win, money is no object, and they have the right triggerman for the job, unscrupulous but thank God an average coach. Who knows what the final outcome of NIL and the transfer portal will be, but it will not be good for programs like ours, having said that, I'd rather have Dabo running the program with transparency and integrity, regardless of results.
