Don't understand these guys going pro after average to mediocre seasons. I think they all left money on the table by not taking advantage of their Sr year.

Scott had his degree. Cain was ready to leave and was getting pushed by Tee Higgins. McCloud didn't want to switch to defense.

Tay, imo, was a significantly better player in many ways that Ray Ray. Better hands, played bigger, and more YAC.
Because of this, I can't believe Tay was not drafted last year. But hey, wdik?! ??

Tay has the most uncanny balance I’ve ever seen. YAC almost comes natural to him.

What could they have done with another year to make them be taken higher?

Cain and McCleod has ball handling problems at times. Every time RayRay was back for returns I would hold my breath the entire play until the whistle

Ray ray wasn't gonna get much higher than 6th rd regardless of what yr he came out. He does a lot of things avg to good but not great. He probably should've came into Clemson a DB like we originally recruited him for.

McCloud didn't have many bad plays as PR last year.

Cain and McCloud knew they were going to be replaced by more talented players this year. Scott was never the same after his leg injury. He sadly lost a good bit of speed, and no how much he tried, he could not regain it.

I'm sorry outside of Tee Higgins there is no Clemson WR more talented than Deon Cain. Cain is a freak athlete and once his hands become.

If his hands become.
I have seen progress with route running but his catching hasn't gotten better imho.

Why wouldn't they?

Scott nor McCloud would gain nothing by returning. Cain if he had TL as QB could have raised his stock. He wouldn't know who would be our QB though. I think they all made the right choice.
