Two-sport star receives Clemson offer, sets visit date
Alim McNeill’s recruitment has exploded since the beginning of the year, and he added the national champion Clemson Tigers to his list of 33 offers Monday night. As a result, he hopes to visit Clemson later this month, where he will also talk to another of Clemson's coaches.

at 6-3 270, in high school? That's crazy. Seems to be incredibly athletic for his size. Could be a Christian Wilkins clone by the time he gets to college.

I am confused. Tip of the article says he is a DT, which at 270 makes sense. Bottom of article says he is a LB. That would be a very large HS LB.

Yep - you're totally right. McNeill has been playing LB at 270+ this year and doing so productively. Hyper athletic and a frame that can hold 310 easily. This will be a good test for Bates to see if we can develop DTs if we take McNeill.
