Apparently is coming back to get his degree, he’s one of the two former players I would love to have as a GA on the sideline. Boulware is the other I would love to have on the sidelines. Both of them were absolute savages on the field something I think these younger guys need to learn how to be on every single play.

Right. What the heck is that all about. Still to this day think we win that game with a healthy Mac.

What a poor take. What does he do, hobble out there and get beat by WRs? His job would not have been to cover the TE or give up big special teams plays anyway. Was a great player for us.

I was just going to say/post that if he hadn’t been hurt, we might’ve won that first Bama championship game. Mac was playing hurt against OU in the semi, and was not able to go in the natty! He didn’t ‘lay down’. Bad read on your part, ‘80.

You're a buffoon...Dude strained his hammy in semi and was playing in the natty on adreline and mild pain pain killers...and he was still locked down for a half until he came out...

Hating on Kearse. Why? SMH

Jayron Kearse had a good career at Clemson. He had 61 tackles in 2014 and 62 in 2015, so there was no drop off. The idea that he was tanking late 2015 just doesn't make sense. He was drafted 7th round. I doubt anyone told him he was going 1st round. So if he was projected 2nd round or lower, he would be trying to get better right, especially coming out after his junior year.
And who can forget him chasing down James Quick in the 2014 game vs Louisville for the touchdown saving tackle and the defense having the goal line stand?

in disarray that game once Alexander went down and Bama exploited. I imagine more of a case of everyone trying to do more than their job. Here is an interesting read that points the finger elsewhere from Kearse. I think folks were just mad because he announced right after that he was leaving early and tried to correlate the 2. He was projected 2nd round but went 7th - the reason was he was seen as a guy without a position for a lot of NFL teams. They don't draft guys in the 2nd round to switch positions(S to LB) and he was not a prototypical safety based on height/weight etc.

questionable. He hurt is left one while making a tackle in the 1st half and couldn't return. He gave it his best shot.

Two of the best to bring the fire and intensity that BV did. Mackensie is one of the best CBs I’ve ever seen in person, he was an absolute dog in all phases.

Call me crazy but Skalski > Boulware imo and would be a better coach eventually, didn't he land on BVs staff in Oklahoma?
But either way I agree would be nice to have some fire on the sideline on game day. Bulwark and Mack would definitely do that.
