For the first time this season, Dabo wasn't carrying the plastic play sheet, and Garrett Riley was wearing a head set. Did I see this correctly?
And if so, did this make a difference?

There was definitely a change today. I think there was a “coaches only” meeting this week where the staff may have told him he needs to show some trust and let them manage their part of the game. I think the micromanaging may have come up.
Whatever it was, there was a noticeable and welcome change on the sidelines. Players looked a lot looser too.

yep, and Mafah didn't trip on the grass; the OL blocked the best all year.

Maybe more the timing than what you said. With all the negativity surrounding this team lately, it is kind of nice to be able to just bask in a win for a little bit.

We will never know 100% for sure but I’m going to believe my lying eyes. Something was way different and at one point went back to same ol until it didn’t work and then went back again.

What was different was no disastrous turnovers or miscues....at least not until later in the game.

While it still wasn’t a great performance by the offense, it was still a lot better than what we have seen this year. I really hope Mafah gets the starting position for the rest of the year. Cade is just Cade…not much to say there
