Louisville's most impressive road victory in past 5 years?

We all know that The Cards pounded The Noles impressively in a home game a few weeks ago, but ... what is the most impressive game they've won in a hostile environment in the past few years?

At Notre Dame. But keep in mind this is year 3 of Petrino. The wins will become more prevalent now that his players are being injected into the starting lineup.

Anyone who believes any element of history will figure in the result of the upcoming game may need a reality check of the first order.
This is now. Louisville's offense, for that matter, bears exactly zero resemblance to that of the teams you have played and squeaked by before this.

It's interesting you mention this is his 3rd year

Looking at his coaching career:
-4 years at Louisville -1 "season" with the Falcons -4 years at Arkansas -1 year at Western Kentucky -Now in year 3 at Louisville
So it looks like he's getting close to that time when he starts to get restless. When a big program like LSU, or if not LSU someone else, comes calling this year or next year...he gone.

BTW ... your opinion wasn't very helpful.

There really haven't been many , maybe ND ? I think Petrino has got them clicking right now . They mowed the Criminoles down like they were playing the Citadel ...but for all this there isn't a game you can look at this year and say they've been in a spot like they're gonna be in on Saturday night . Petrino hasn't beaten any top 10 teams away from home ....ever . So there is that .

outside of a few solid bowl match-ups, they really didn't have that many opportunities.
