Sewage treatment plant on Bluff Rd is hiring. They are looking for someone who is a specialist in being a great big turd. Belk should be high on their list.

Now you know why Dabo was eager to let him go.

Drama avoided, waste of more of Clemson resources avoided. Good luck to the dude because it sounds like he needs our prayers.

This is a sad story.
Josh Belk has failed spectacularly and very publicly. That is a huge burden to bear.
I he gets some help, recovers and finds a way to get his life back under control.

If Belk was seriously injured then I can understand his decision. I too have a fracture in my lower back. It is not something you ignore. Pray for him despite his past.

I honestly can't help but feel

He has family and friends all trying to ride his coattails...always in his ear. One has to wonder if that burden has dissolved his love for football...if that passion was ever there. I see a kid with lots of folks interested in him, but few if any that are the real support he needs. Perhaps a year away from the game and the parasites will help clear the path ahead.

I agree and hope he finds some peace at whatever he winds up doing. I always thought that there was a lot more than what appeared to be going on. I know Dabo would have done all he could to help him, but at some point maybe he knew it was just best for him to cut loose. Good luck to him.
