Friday night, Tipsy Taco and some shopping for the krampus party we went to Saturday.
Saturday, watched football, cooked some stuff for the party, went to party and had a nice time. There were more football fans than I expected.
Sunday, started on the next YouTube video, broke some stuff, brewed some beer, joined in the FSU getting screwed conversation.

Friday...crappy/rainy day. Met wife-of for dinner at The Fickle Palate in Anderson. New trendy-bent tapas place. Food was really good. Not cheap, but also not crazy expensive. I had the smoked jerk chicken and wife-of had the swordfish. I think they're associated with the brewery and had ~12 local brews on tap.
Saturday...daughter-of ran/walked in a race in the morning. Went to go see the new Hunger Games prequel with wife-of. Wasn't as bad as I was prepared for. Watched some football. Went for early dinner at Rigby's for the first time. Was a decent burger and wangs. Home to see the 8pm games.
Sunday...Woke up way too early for some reason. Wife-of had something to go to in G'ville, so took daughter-of to church and then Messican for lunch. Watched a bit of NFL and Tiger BB at Pitt. Had BB practice at 4. Home to watch the end of the NFL late games...fantasy team holding on a very slim lead going into tonight. Heated up some Injun food wife-of brought home from G'ville.
Low-key and fairly relaxing.

Started the weekend off by a final lunch at Tanner's. Hot dog special and I could not eat it all. LOL. Place was packed. I guess everyone is trying to get in a final grease fix.
Worked the Greenville Woodworkers Guild sale on Saturday, heavy rain expected and never really showed up. I got to hand out doughnuts and coffee.
Watched the Fish demolish whatever Wash is called now. Dolphins are good, but have yet to beat a good team imo. Saw a little of KC getting beat by the Pack. Did not expect that.
Did some Xmas shopping online.

Saturday. Taped and mudded sheetrock all day.

Friday, took a long hike with the pup after work since it wasn't raining. Hit the trails along the river, crossed the road and hit the trails along the lake up to the neighborhood up the road. Wandered the front of the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights for a bit, then back down the road in the dark. Halfway there, I saw and heard suspicious activity that I thought was either some kind of spousal abuse or a kidnapping, but a car was parked in the middle of the road and there were yelling and crying type sounds from two different adult-sounding people. They did an awkward U-turn and sped away before we got near. I would have chalked it up to general weirdness that happens on our end of the road from time to time, but the guy closing the city park (co-worker of Mrs.) rolled up just then and we tried to piece together what we heard and saw. Happy not to be involved, we both headed to our respective homes. Ate supper, watched football and AEW, crashed.
Saturday, chores, grocery run, football, then headed downtown to the Christmasville Festival because Mrs. wanted to wander around for a bit. Stopped into the new Mexican joint and drank an excellent michelada while watching the 4th quarter of the Georgia loss. Once the dawggies were undefeated no more, we headed over to Common Market to see local band Skydriver do a Gram Parsons tribute. Very good job, but the sound for the vocals was far too muddy. Still had a good time. Home to watch more football and crash.
Sunday, coffee, hiked the pup, waited for Mrs. to get off work at the park and then headed up to Charlotte for the Honky Tonk Brunch at The Tipsy Burro Cantina (same owners as Thirsty Beaver). Saw Laid Back Country Picker, and he was EXCELLENT (video below). Stopped in Pineville on the way back and looked at a bass amp that was on sale at Guitar Center, then hit the Super G for banana ketchup, Maggi Sauce, Chamoy, and few other international food needs. Home to watch Panties lose, which is always nice, eat, and killed the rest of the night with John Wick 3.

19/19 Covids, would do it all again, including watching a violent kidnapping take place from afar.

Had to take 9 month old DT vandy for a follow up ultrasound. Everything checked out normal, so she good.
Everyone went to local pizza joint to celebrate. 9 month old housed so much pizza she threw up haha. Been there amirite
Sat we had Santa pics. About as prototypically epic as you could imagine. A 2 yr old and 9 month old girl going a solute ape #### on some old dudes lap. Solid pics for sure.
Sat in the woods all afternoon. In rain. Miserable. Saw nothing. Met homies at bar to watch end of games and check out hometowns finest. Great people watching. Home and in bed by 11
Sun hit errands, had seggs, cooked fat steak, got wrekt on my parlay.. the usual

Friday dinner with Wife-Of at Mr Crisp. Had some excellent oysters and fish. Tried a negroni and did not love it. Just too much bitter. Went home and watched great Nix on Nix game. Sadly saw end of Tiger Women's loss.
Saturday got up and did some chores around the house, then began pouring 2 screens of football directly into my face. Wife-of made delicious soup and put that in my face also. Tiger soccer got the W. Pretty good games up until the night round puntfest. Went to bed confident we'd see and ACC team in the CFP.
Sunday watched the shenanigans unfold. More chores. Went for a nice long warm walk. Tiger Hoops TCB 11 in a row over Pitt. Made steaks for dinner, and watched some Packers-Chiefs to cap the weekend.
Would repeat. RIP college football forever and for this year.

The good - my wife loves me! She actually "gave me permission" to buy a new rifle. A Ridgeline FFT in &mm Rem Mag. Wonderful woman.
The bad - well, headed to Urgent care with ear infection. Second in 6 months. Odd. I never had ear infections before.
The ugly - I'm the oldest in our bunch. My sister trailing me passed unexpectedly yesterday. Time is no one's to control. Love your family while they are here to be loved. Saddness abounds.

what kinda glass you gonna put on there?
I dipped my toes into the high dollar glass game this year...it's fun. Built me a "brush gun" (I know no such thing exists, but still) for hunting this thick stuff here in the TN public land. Got a Henry 30-30 lever w/ a Leupold VX5 - 1x5 scope w/ a red dot. Complements my 7 mag well, me thinks.
Broke it in real nice by sitting in the coldass rain all day, so got to break it down and clean it up.
Next year I wanna finally get my hands on a LH bolt action rifle. Been eyeing the Browning X-Bolts or a Weatherby. Had not considered Christensen Arms...what led you to this juan?

Hit up two breweries, one being Southern Grist. Then on to Jeff Ruby's for dinner. Incredible. We hit Broadway after that just so I could experience it; The Stage was the most notable of the places we went on there.
We ventured closer back to the hotel (The Graduate) and bounced around what my buddy called the cooler, older part of Nashville. Ended the night at some bar called Winners and then a taco joint that I was too drunk to really remember.

sounds like you did it right. If I'm forced down there, I prefer Broadway during daylight then peel off like y'all did to the bars around vandy / in the gulch. I think they call that area midtown?
I coulda reached out b/c we were down there Friday. But we were a little tense having to go to Vandy Chirrens for that ultrasound. All worked out well...plus you guys prolly wouldn't have wanted to hang out w/ my wife and my 9 month old

Yeah, near Vandy was where we finished the night. Definitely a little more my speed than Broadway.
I heard a lot more rock and rap on Broadway than country.

We'll make it work another time. I'll assume you weren't the decked out Clemson guy in the airport Sunday who ignored my "Go Tigers!" since I think you're a good bit younger than him.

Friday: Played golf in company golf outing, drank lots, played mostly good golf, and had fun.
Saturday: Drove to Charlotte for company holiday party. Drank lots, played roulette because that's what wifekrzy wanted to play, won fake money for extra raffle tickets and didn't win anything.
Sunday: Woke up hungover, we stayed at my uncle's, so walked to a diner for breakfast. Drove back home, played a round of disc golf, and starting setting up Christmas at the house.

Friday - at the office until almost 6 dealing with a subpoena. Gym. Home. Guinness. Football until halftime. Bed.
Saturday - a 6-hour church meeting. Work. Ordered out. A little football. Bed.
Sunday - church (again), gym (went HARD), cooked a veggie version of Italian gravy, ate. Early to bed.
Oh, and it was rainy Saturday and Sunday, so a nice run on the greenway was not in the cards.
In short, a large chunk of my normal free weekend time was taken by unpleasantness. Other than the gym and the gravy, not a great weekend.
I am very much looking forward to MNF with Peyton & Eli and TLaw & ETN tonight.

Friday: got to a late start and didn’t start drinking until 4pm. Ate huge Elk Chops with a group of friends where too many bottles of wine were opened. One of my friends got up to go to bathroom, walked outside instead, fell on his face. He was found asleep in his car an hour later. I took my Christmas card picture for the year by lying on the floor in a sexy pose in front of the Christmas tree display at the restaurant. My date wasn’t amused. Ended up having to get a ride home from a friend and his wife.
Saturday: I think the elk gave me a headache. Only had two mimosas with breakfast. Napped a lot. Watched football.
Sunday: Drank a couple mimosas and played golf. Hit bombs, scored well, lost a lot of money. Slept.

Maybe that’s what caused my headache on Saturday.

Fri - sang some karaoke and drank some beers
Sat - watched football in the afternoon and drank some beers with golf buds. Little one stayed over with a friend, so date night with wife. Awesome food at Whiskey Alley, drank some beers.
Sun - Christmas parade downtown, drank some beers. Ate at Mellow Mushroom and food was not terrible, drank some beers. Wife took little one's friend home so I hung around and played music bingo, drank some beers.
Looking back, I probably need to drink less beers.

Friday - Watched Washington slap the snot out of Oregon
Saturday - performed a little electronics work with a friend on his guitar. Spent the rest of the day watching conference Champ games:
Appetizer was the Texas/Ok State game - Texas looked real good but it could have just been the Ok State defense is just really bad...
Main course was the UGA vs Alabama game - Got immense pleasure watching the leghumpers lose..bless their little inbred hearts.
Dessert was FSU vs Louisville game - Snooze fest... Couldn't really decide who to pull for - both team rosters are built off the transfer portal and that just irritates me. Louisville's ACC conference schedule as the easiest in the league and essentially cake-walked through it to Charlotte. Didn't really like idea of them being rewarded with that schedule by winning the ACC Champ. Can't stand FSU's Norvell - think he is a tool extraordinaire after pulling that COVID stunt on us in 2020. Ultimately decide I didn't care who won and would just laugh at who lost... that would be you Loserville...
Sunday - Spent most of the day watching some pro football and checking in on the "FSU and the ACC woe is me they got screwed.Net" - formerly known as "TigerNet". Delighted in UGA and their bowl-cut wearing head coach not making the CFP. Took a few shots at the over the top FSU sympathizers on the "FSU and the ACC woe is me they got screwed.Net", high five'd us flipping Amare Adams and went to bed.
Overall a decent weekend except for the ridiculous amount of "FSU got left out of the CFP" whining that is now in day 2 of the TigerNets....
