Clemson’s CFP teams never looked as bad as this Florida State team .
Respectfully, this Florida State team was never the fourth best team even with Travis. We all saw it at death Valley this year. They were quite good very good one might say. Not an elite top four team.
The committee screwed up by having them ranked too high before the conference championship games.

Thank you. Funny how emotional some are getting over this when it has zero effect on Clemson. This does not affect Clemson or what we are doing in the future. In other words, clemson for all intents and purposes has left the ACC and will very soon. I tried telling people last night it wasn’t clear-cut but many wanted to make 100% predictions without looking at the landscape.
I try to look at all sides and don’t give a #### about conference affiliation. I do feel bad for our good friend Bret. If they would’ve gotten in ….I would’ve been OK with it ….but I do think they got the four best teams in

Okay....I don't disagree but explain why the CFP committee decided that even without FSU's starting QB they should be ranked #4 after last week? That's the issue....they changed the narrative to fit what they wanted all along.

Bert… That’s a great great point. They should’ve never had them at number four in my opinion. The committee definitely screwed up there

In some of our games during our title years, we did not look strong either. So yes our championship teams have had times when we did not look great
Signed Troy, Pitt and NC State. Oh and a fluky win against UNC in the ACC title game. So please consider your point now debunked.

The good news is there will be only 4 major conference winners next year. Hopefully those 4 get the first round bye. Conference titles should mean something if we are going to play them.

Had that been us, no doubt a caravan of cars, pickups, semi's, tractors and four-wheelers pulling trailers loaded with coon dogs would be headed to Grapevine, Texas! And even if the committee members were absent, you'd see bags of horsedung ablaze right in front of that office!
