Hopefully the family kept this picture next to their beds long enough for them to remember how their parents used them for personal humiliation purposes.

....a little reminder never hurts.
That boy's eyes are staring at probably his dad to make sure that he is looking smug enough for the picture.
Pathetic...I'd never do this with my kid.

The best thing about those 5-Bombs is that Dabo hasn't either.
He has a long memory.

It's really low-class and it's emblematic of their fan-base.

"Clemson and Red's Bogus Journey."
But, if anyone needs a history lesson on how quick this rivalry can turn:
1975: Coots win at home 56-20 1976: Clemson wins at home 28-9.

I have lived in Spartanburg all my life and there appears to be more coot fans than Tiger fans in this area. I was never one to run my mouth about Clemson beating the coots. I have family members that love SC so I tried to respect their feelingss. I enjoyed the win and went on about my business and wondered if my Tigers would ever ascend to greatness in college football. I let the coots have their day every so often when they would win a game against us.
After the 5 year drought against the coots my attitude changed entirely. I hope SC loses every game every week regardless of who they are playing and regardless of the sport. I tone it down around my coot family members, but everyone else lives hard. If the coots were playing the Chinese national team I would pull for them against the coots.
The coots are a mess and it makes me laugh. I do not worry about them embarrassing the state of SC because our Tigers take up their slack every year.
If Dabo could do it and get all our players out healthy I hope he hangs 80 on the coots.

exception of a few years in Greenville. I'm 53. It depends on what area of Spartanburg you live in but yes there are a lot of coots in Spartanburg, some of which are lifelong friends. I hope they never win a game but I don't run my mouth about it. I let the scoreboard do my talking, just like when I played. I actually have a little sympathy for the coot fans I know who are good people (yes, there are a few but they're are the exception). Their admin is as big, or bigger, a dumpster fire than their football program.
I remember how it felt when I woke up on a cold winter morning in 1990, turned on the news, and discovered my beloved Clemson admin was consciously destroying the football program. 'Twas a feeling of despair I hope to never have, again, but you never know when educated people you trust are going to make decisions that are self serving and ignorant.

his day to take a picture with them makes me want to punch a Coot in the mouth every time I see it.
I hope Dabo remembers each one of those pictures if he is even considering taking his foot off the gas against the cowardly capons, and adds another touchdown each time. I want more points than there are minutes in the game. Since '76 was my graduation year, that sounds like a nice round number of points to get. But, if we get more, mo betta yet, ESPECIALLY in The Roach.

So these are the recordings of their golden era and this is what i'm sure they all cherish eventhough they're probably about to have that feat double up on them.
