I hate that we don't wear the white Pony's like we wore in the early 80's. Never heard of lower leg injuries back then. Players will tell you it is why we beat Cornhuskers for natty in 81/82.

I'll play along!
The offense is lack luster for sure, issues at basically all positions, but this defense?
I was hoping Wes would "come along", but it's clear he's just not a emotional guy. This defense desperately misses that intensity the BV brought. Yes the BV defenses weren't always perfect, but dang those boys had a fire lit under them & if not coach would chew them out. We're missing that & it's not like we don't have a ton of talent on that side. This is just my honest opinion.

We way I see it: I've lived long enough to see us win three national titles, when I never expected the first. My little, ole Clemson with three, and a whole lot of others who would love to have one.

Very true. We have lived to see Clemson better than most of us above 40 thought we could be. Most of us knew this should be a top 15 program annually back in the day. Hence why we were not happy with Bowden.
I would have put our potential and my expectations at competing for ACC titles pretty much annually. Every 3 to 4 years have a team that could make a real run at the Natty. Thanks allot Dabo for completely demolishing those expectations. 😊.
The sad thing about the portal is you will rarely see teams spike with senior laden teams as the middle of the road programs will have their great players transfer for the payout.

It’s gotten too slick. The games have gotten a little too boujee and too corporate. This isn’t a Clemson issue so much as a CFB issue.
500 a night hotels, 300 dollar parking passes, expensive game tickets after you’ve opened up and given all your money to IPTAY, limited number of people in the hill, the big scoreboard and pipping in loud music.
Gone are the days of run of the mill southern folk going to CFB games cause that’s just what you do around here, drinking a crap ton of PBR, sneaking in flasks with JD or Jimmy B, getting loud when your hated rival comes in, and just feeling the experience from beginning to end.

To clarify I don't hate this 2023 team. Far from it. Pulled hard from Section UO this week. Call it the "general" category. My take is the players and coaches are largely entitled with steak/lobster, massages, NIL, jet skis, tutors doing assignments, & the best of everything and still lost to the only semi-competent team we've played. Everyone owns it, and the ###### can be flipped this week. Go Tigers!

Dabo is almost too rah rah for me, likes to hear himself talk too much, but he’s a great leader and coach, and that hard to find, and that’s what i respect about him the most. Tommy Bowden was a “cooler cat” but would lose to Wake at times, and in all actuality, could barely beat Wake, to be honest. Give me Bowdens demeanor, with the Dabo drive to win, and you’ve got the perfect Southern Gentleman.

For me it’s not Clemson football it’s the current direction of college football. Traveling out to Stanford makes me sick for the players and the fans. Travel that far it needs to be for a Rose Bowl or a national championship.

"Fans"... I use that term loosley ... that choose to be jerks to other fans. It was the hardest part of becoming a Clemson fan in the first place. As great as the average Clemson fan is when I run into a "jerk" from Clemson they are a major jerk that will go out way of their way to be a jerk.

HATERS! That really don't understand how great it is now even when we lose on occasion. In my office I have a PEPSI bottle commemorating the 1974 season. We were undefeated at home that year and won 8 total games. It warranted a PEPSI bottle. Would it do that today? Be grateful
