Maybe but I would trade our QB and our WRs with theirs in a second. They are clearly better.

Disagree. I do not believe, overall, they are better. They just want it more and believe they have something to prove. They also have a very motivational coach. Talent doesnt take you to the top. Drive, determination, and working your butt off gets you there.

NIL money and the portal.
Cost them over $6 Million NIL for QB and receivers. They will burn their eligibility and likely never graduate. Leaving college as ignorant and more entitled than ever and prepared for the NFL. Same at a lot of other schools, graduation is not an objective for football players.
Dabo does a great job, and we cannot play in the portal gold mine, until we dump academic objectives and get much more NIL money. Texas and TAMU combined, have over $50 Million in NIL money 💰 according to their boosters. Let’s see how well it works? Let’s see how Colorado turns out this year, and next year..

The Buffs do not have better QBs.
Do you honestly believe the kids in their QB room are better than Clemson’s kids?

Here’s their season schedule. Which of these games was it warranted to play the backups? Before you say OU keep in mind they played the QB for the majority of the game to try and keep the score close

Definitely Oregon and Nebraska.
And I do believe Clemson (the QBs and WRs) would not need overtime to defeat Colorado State at home.

Nebraska: 23 - 7 to start the 4th quarter; technically a 2 score game. Do you put in the backups? If you do are you throwing it down field or running clock?
Oregon: Again Deion wanted to make a statement in the 2nd half. They were down 35 -0 at half and he wanted to see who on his team was gonna keep fighting so he played his starters longer than most would. This isn’t a guess it was from his own mouth.
You clearly haven’t watched any of the games you are trying to speak on.

Okay?
What does all of this have to do with which QB room you would rather have? Would Deion take our backups over his? I contend that he would.

Maybe they do need their backups after all. At least on defense. That was not a good showing by Colorado.

While we were gobbling blood pressure medicine wishing Sherlock Holmes was around to figure out what happened to the real DJU......Sheduer was slicing teams up at Jackson state....while Cade was trying to find somewhere to put down the clipboard.

Based on the stats and results; it’s incontrovertible that Sanders has been a better QB this season. Cade still has time to grow and I’m confident that he will. Shoot Duggan was pretty mediocre until his last year at TCU; we’ll see where we are after a full year in the offense.

I’ll take Cade and the future over Sanders and the entitlement and attitude any day. Cade> Sanders and higher upside. Better attitude. Better player. Better teammate.

Travis Hunter WR, and starting DB is a beast, will go pro and play for sure. He was the top recruit at WR and prime got him to flip from FSU and come to Jackson state…. We should thank him as the kid would be destroying the accc… Prime can recruit a specific character of kid, and they can ball…. Hot dogging dudes will line up tp play for him…. I dont think any of them would fit Dabo’s culture and expectations of character….

I am glad someone answered the obvious. Sanders is only at Colorado because his Dad is the Coach. He was going to play for his Dad wherever his Dad was.

The QB is Deion Sanders’ son. The two way player, Travis Hunter, was flipped from FSU to Jackson State with an NIL deal orchestrated by Deion.

Highly doubt Shadeur would be a fit with Clemson football culture. So JK and others, go ahead and bash that statement and the Clemson football culture but there are some who still think it is important. If you want to win at all cost, jump on the Coach Prime bandwagon, I believe there may be a little more room in it this morning.

PACIFIC BEACH TIGER® the portal will cost you money and you will need to poach players. Do you believe the good players transferring don’t already have their destination set up.
You guys act like great players are just sitting in there waiting for a call. The good ones have been paid for and the portal is an avenue to get it done.

This isn’t just about Colorado. That’s just one example.
Yeah, this is the crux of the issue, tampering.
Dabo is a high-integrity guy but he must figure this portal thing out the right way. 11 million a year is a lot for a 7-5, unranked team. We could hire Beamer for a lot less, hahah, jk.
