30% of Americans since they don’t have a Constitution & 2nd Amendment clause.
So, the Israeli gov is freeing up that situation now by giving gun ownership rights more broadly so citizens can protect themselves.
Seems logical & fair!

There is very reasonable gun that could be enacted that doesn't affect your ability to protect yourself.

I'm firmly in your camp when it comes to 2nd Amendment rights and support gun ownership. I also think more armed Israelis would have helped.
But no, it is not anyone's duty to be armed. No one should be required or even suggested they should be. Let's get realistic.

Citizens with AR-15's aren't going to stop tanks. Dissidents from a tyrannical US army with the same weapons would have to step up.

Do you honestly think the US has enough military manpower, weapons, and ammunition to kill off 100, 000,000 rebels determined to fight to the death!
There's a reason the Deep State claims that White Supremacist groups along with Patriot groups such as the Anniston flag flyers and other dissidents as more dangerous than "climate change."
