return to greatness like some. Seems like a lot of people are just jumping on the bandwagon. I'll have to see some more proof. I know I'm biased, but I really think we will take a big step forward this year and be back in the mix soon.

Their roster is hard to ignore, & their spring game was relentlessly terrifying if I'm honest, but I think the vast majority of Clemson nation didn't notice either is all, & that's OK.
Frankly if we lose the first one to FSU in September I'll be less nervous about the ACC title game rematch (albeit of course I'd like to win both). My concern is the team, like most of us, won't be ready for them & this is kinda their best roster lineup in ages & it seems sincerely legitimate.
We'll make some extra money either way so that's good, but a Gator Bowl redemption for Coach Swinney would be more than just a consolation prize, IMO.

C'mon fam, really? Went to every Clemson home game while my mother was pregnant with me & my brother; you can literally say it's in my blood & then some.
I get it if you don't listen to the show or never watched the series, etc. but something tells me I'm simply being trolled for just talking about IF Clemson doesn't win all 15 games & the Heisman & staying on the topic in the article.
Y'all really, truly wouldn't want Coach Swinney to win the Gator Bowl just out of spite for, I don't know, anything else, even for his own sake & the story he'll never forget (& neither will many of "us")?

and part of the reason is you're always playing devils advocate against Clemson. Why is that?
We beat them last year with a QB that couldn't complete a forward pass. Our QB is an upgrade. Our DL is upgraded, OL is upgraded, WR is upgraded, TE is upgraded, secondary will be the leaders on defense and our LB's are scary. No need to mention our RB room. The area I'm not sure we are trending up is kicker, but who knows? Let's not forget you're boasting a coach who's never accomplished anything against Dabo? Huh???????

I hear you.
I don't always do it, to be fair, but I also don't think it's simply a conspiracy against Clemson outright, either.
Knowing why FSU is being given props, for example, gives credibility to why I think we will beat them vastly worse this year than the 6-point win last year.
It's also a thing I learned about being literal at one of Coach Swinney's camp----if you KNOW your opponent, you can be more easily & better prepared to crush them.
I agree I have to do better about saying anything about other teams that isn't at least implicitly insulting here, I admit.
I'll work on it, promise, just don't ignore the posts where I also call for Clemson to go undefeated again & other good things like that, know what I mean? I'm all-in, even if I think having a highly-rated FSU on the schedule is a good thing for Clemson (especially if we get them twice).

We don't have to talk about it, just saying what I saw from them didn't make me think it's JUST a conspiracy against Clemson even though I also think 1.) FSU being ranked high will help us & 2.) Clemson will beat them way worse than even last year & by at least 2 scores.

Will Shipley was listed in a top-25 list for the Heisman again today, but I'd suggest he or Cade both could have the stats, schedule &, most importantly, the story to make a sincere Heisman run this season, particularly if we face FSU again in the ACC title game.
We don't always get those things to line up, & I admit, the Heisman stuff is a bit personal (I can't wait for Clemson to get one but I know many people don't like the award outright & for many reasons).

I'm not either bc like I've said, we beat them in their back yard without Garrett, Klubnik, and without close to our entire Receiving core. Having Garrett, Klubnik with a ton more this coming season in DV, I just can't imaging how they could possibly believe that FSU will in DV. I just don't see that happening without our Tigers being hit by an awful lot of injuries before that game....

The playoff is obviously the goal.
If we lose to FSU in a rematch for the ACC title though, we're likely out of the playoff, however a chance at redemption for Coach Swinney in the Gator Bowl (& potentially against a team as fun to watch as Ole Miss) would be definitely something many of us would savor outright, for sure.

It’s going to be a Dabo dream season, look for some more “bring your our Guts” comments to adjust the gears!

This is laughable. There is absolutely nothing to back up any of these statements. Clemson has proven that winning a game at Death Valley requires Clemson playing a C game. Clemson is a staggering (69-2) at home the last 10 years! Both losses by 1 point each! Something else to consider Clemson is (91-8) at home under Dabo Swinney all time! His worst year was 2010 when Clemson was (5-2) at home that season. It is also the only season in his tenure that he ever lost more than 1 home game in the same season! Why are these numbers worth talking about? All 3 of Clemson's toughest opponents come to Death Valley to play this year: FSU Sep 24, Notre Dame Nov 4, and UNC Nov 18! What are the odds they lose all three? Have to say pretty slim to lose even 2! 12-1 or better and Clemson will be in the CFP! Go Tigers!
