If true, this is the exact situation that tells me that the NIL thingy has went past the good that it was supposed to be. IMO, if a kid is under an athletic scholarship, that means that the school is heavily invested into the student's education with an athletic scholarship, and the second the school learns that a NIL bidding war is going on with that student and other schools, or another school, that should cancel any opportunity for a transfer as soon as it's known, period!!!

I thought it was legal wrangling by athletes for more $$ and the courts agreed that athletes couldn't be prevented from making $$$ on names, images, and likenesses.

LOL!!! He is not that good. Anyone that pays that much for any player at the college level is dumb. The reality is that even though he was so great it didn't contribute to a championship even at the conference level. Explain that ROI to someone shelling out the money. LOL. Ridiculous.

I’ve got to respectfully disagree Crzyhrs, Burns threw 89 pitches against us in relief and we couldn’t touch him. Also saw him come in CWS and shut another team down. Forgot who tenn was playing that day. Not sure about his NIL worth but he took care of business against us that long night .

The Clemson starting long snapper currently does not have a scholarship. As much as I would love an additional receiver, Dabo does not have an available scholarship.

You got it. He wanted to be a starter. He was a starter and struggled mightily so they moved him to the bullpen where he dominated. That put a burr under his saddle and he is going elsewhere. Trending toward TCU is what I am hearing.
