Does the Post and Courier do a Sunday "The Onion" edition?
The more I read that article, the more I thought it was satire.

Well, that is where coot dreams go to wither and die, so I can't think of a more appropriate place.

"It’s not a morbid place. It’s going to be a celebration of life and a celebration of the Gamecocks. This is not about candles and crying. We do enough crying across the street (at Williams-Brice)." Quote of the year

And you know, the more I think about, I can't think of any Clemson fan who would ever say something like that. And I mean even during the Tommy West days.

WTH? Weird quote about him adding measures to prevent Clemson fans from damaging his columbarium
Who vandalizes something like that. This dude is weird.
This is what you get though when your university is in a city and property is owned by a ton of different people

Mr. Suber clearly wants to “leave his mark” next to WB! Heck even the university itself doesn’t approve and that alone says enough already! This type of facility clearly belongs elsewhere and I am truly surprised the concept got approved by local zoning. If it were built it would certainly give new meaning to “Spurs Up.”
Go Tigers!

Clemson after all has a pretty nice cemetery directly adjacent to DV. There are a lot of people would love to be buried there but can’t (including me). There are other cemeteries on other college campuses as well. In the end it likely is a money making venture but I don’t see it as that much of a departure from the norm.

Cemetery Hill (Woodland) was there long before

Memorial Stadium was built and was established by Dr. Riggs to honor long time employees of the university.......it wasn't put there so big boosters can look lovingly down on Saturday games from the hereafter like the usuck columbarium (for a hefty price).....
Can you see a tiny difference in the two?

Certainly I can appreciate the difference. I just find it odd that people would snicker at scar for having people “buried” next to the cockroach when we do as well.
Edit - Didn't know this was a private venture with not done but the university. Doesn't make a huge difference except that it is completely a money grab - just like the cockabuses.

been to carnival a bunch of times and found the heliport parking area there a great place for easy escape from that insanity.....most of the parades end at the Superdome and they usually just dump whatever they have leftover on the floats to anyone standing around (beads, candy, etc)....its really not that bad of a walk to the vieux carre from there.
