Agreed, Big 10 spoiled that deal. And we don't have to worry about Rice that was 2 years ago and ACC rightly decided against.

The only way any of those teams you just mentioned join the ACC, is if half of the current teams have gone elsewhere.

It’s largely a commuter school with nowhere near the passionate fanbase of Texas or aTm…

Houston is a much more legit college football program/ stadium/ market/ fan base than Syracuse, Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke , possibly GT. It is a commuter school to an extent, but that really isn’t that important. It’s the 2nd largest, maybe largest, city in a state crazy about college football. Which is something the ACC needs, markets serious and passionate about college football. Make no mistake, without adding other Texas schools, it makes zero sense to add Houston to the ACC. 3 years ago, the ACC should have been proactive by attempting to grab WVU, Houston , TCU, and Texas Tech or Oklahoma State.

They just dont. I dont care what "market" they are in. People keep throwing that word around like it means something. Either you have a team people watch, or you dont. And people arent watching those teams. Why? Because they arnt any good
