If that is the focus for Clemson football then they'll likely not be a playoff contender by the time we get there. Focus on week 1. The chickens should not be on their radar at all until the week before Thanksgiving. If they are then we have probably given up on greater things.

With the experience he got last season, with starting spring practice as the #1, continuing to summer practice and game prep, I think we'll see a different, more confident player who is a better decision-maker and has a less cloudy view of the field than last year.
When we think of how Garrett Riley turned a guy like Max Duggan into a Heisman finalist, we should salivate over what he could do with a much more talented player.
I don't expect a DW4 performance, but I do expect a DW4-like player. He's won't be as good a natural runner but I'm hoping he's a little more accurate with the ball. The O-line will have to raise its game and we'll need decent production on the ground.

Jordan Travis is bound to become the very first 12 year starter in college football. He was also supposed to be 6-3 when he started and now he's supposedly 6-1 and I doubt either is true.
