Are Death Valleys upper decks the steepest you've been in?

If you haven't sat up there in a while, it might be easy to forget just how sheer the NUD and SUDs are. Especially the North Upper Deck - where i always have to chuckle when i see that the majority of the top of it has been graciously reserved as the Visitor Section. We used to have Coot neighbors who go to every game, home or away. At Ole Miss, at Arkansas, at A&M, nowhere was deemed too far to watch a SCAR loss. However, ironically, about 10 years ago they stopped going to the games at Clemson, because they said they'd get light-headed walking up and down to their seats in the top of the North Upper Deck. Said once, one of them literally got a nose bleed.

I worked in the suite area during school and would walk up there for each kick off. I'm still amazed no one has tripped and gone over the side. The railing isn't even very high.

believe in all these years that some drunk coming down the stairs didn't do a swan dive into the lower deck. Really miraculous.

Code requires guardrails to be 42" high

I've always wondered how Clemson got away with not meeting code and why they haven't brought it up to code since.

be above where the lights shine down on the stadium. It also makes it really intimidating at night from the field level and on TV. It looks like the UDs keep going up to the heavens. like the visiting team's hopes

I'd really love to know the answer, but I'm guessing it's at least 34 degrees.

June 13th, I started my crash course diet program. This is to prep me for home games at Clemson this season. Last year, I came close to dying between GG-QQ. Just looking at the fans seeing me struggle was embarrassing enough, one older lady asked if I wanted to set down...

The old Carolina Colosseum had some pretty steep steps..so has Little John. I've never been in the upper deck in Death Valley.

They're steep, but I felt like getting into seats in Ga Tech's endzone upper area is like climbing a ladder.

Honestly, I've never been in the upper deck on either side, but looking up there from the lower stands has always been enough for me to know that if I couldn't find a lower deck seat to purchase from someone, that I wouldn't be at that game bc those upper deck seats look dangerously steep for someone like myself that don't adjust to heights very well. Looking from my single story home makes me feel a little dizzy, so I know that the upper deck at DV would be an awful experience for me, just saying, anything higher than a 6' ladder straight up, that is plenty high enough for me!!!

The math major in me is thinking the math does not lie. I wonder if someone has calculated the slope of the various stadium upper decks? Ours are steep however, I remember being on what I felt were steeper ones. Unfortunately I cannot remember where. Googling now. If I see anything I will post.
