12 team playoffs

If they don't put a cap on how many teams can come from one conference its going to be 6 to 7 SEC teams every year with only like 3 of them deserving that spot. Today was a massive L for college football and shows you the power the SEC has over the committee. Clemson has got to escape this conference or they will get screwed if the opportunity arises.

Well, there can only be 1 in the first 6 because those go to the 6 best conference champions. The next 6 are the next highest ranked teams so if you want to get in, you better be ranked at least in the Top 12. It is not a stretch to think the SEC and B1G combined will have a good shot at several of those slots but they will also have some of the better programs in the country.

Bottom line for us, if we don't win the conference, we better not have more than 2 losses and even then, there will be no guarantees.

A playoff. Putting 3 loss teams in? Talk about watering down (ruining) the regular season. Oh and by the way, the intensity and importance of every regular season game is what makes college ball great.
