The rankings are nice but at the end of the day I want the better athletes and the better football player's. Bailey just didn't strike me as a top 300 player. He seems to struggle with lateral agility and throws his weight around against lower competition a little too much for my liking and our system.

Bailey has Spencer Region potential. Gonna be hard for him to keep the weight down. But he's worth the risk although he hasn't played well this season.

I want our future guards to have at least spent some time at Tackle for their high schools. Kind of like how the best athlete on the team plays QB even if he's going to be a DB or RB at the next level.

No offense , but Summerville has more state championships than any high school in Sc . Their coach has won more football games than any football coach , on every level ...in the history of the game.
Lower competition ? Why , because he plays in the lowcountry ? Not impressed with teams like Stratford , Goose Creek , Hilton Head , Timberland , Bluffton , Fort Dorchester or Berkeley are ya ?

I stand self-corrected. Gaffney has the SC record for state football championships. Summerville has 12 , Gaffney 16.

Their coach had a talent for finding good players in surrounding areas and those players' dads all suddenly found jobs in Summerville and moved to that school district. They haven't been nearly as dominant since the SCHSL cracked down on that and Fort Dorchester opened.
