Hold on with the Cade laving Clemson talk...............

While anything is possible in today's CFB world, I think it's highly unlikely because it makes no sense and would be out of character for him. I attribute his vagueness yesterday to the moment or perhaps advice from his agent to be vague considering they are most likely negotiating his Clem deal. Yesterday brought his stock to a new price, that will cost Clem more $$$ but they are fully prepared to pay. All part of the negotiations.
Cade still has limitations, some of them were on display yesterday, albeit few. If you research Draftbuzz and some of the other sites, he's around the 8th ranked NFL QB. That gets him late 3rd, 4th round draft status. Better than 5th or Free agent but not life changing $$$. If stays and holds the pieces around him, he could vault himself into a 1st round pick in 2026. In the meantime, he collects a really nice paycheck from Clemson - Dabo already said this was going to happen, listen to his speech about needing more NIL money to bridge us to July.
Lastly, Cade is the poster boy for Clemson/Dabo culture. If he leaves, solely for a little more $$$, either to the NFL or anywhere else, then the culture foundation collapses and we are back to Tommy West days, plus, if that happens, most likely, the Fresh WRs transfer along with others. We all want to add transfers but, honestly, only a few from that world will fit our "culture". We are not ever reloading there.
Clemson/Dabo/IPTAY, etc. needs Cade back for 2025 for a whole lot of reasons. He has all the stock right now and it went way up last night.

Cade could be ranked as high as the 4th Qb taken, it depends on the injury prognosis of Beck plus if some of the other playoff Qbs decide to come back another year or not.

I think Beck has played himself out it of the 1st few rounds. He throws way too many interceptions.

perhaps but right now he is ranked 8th and grouped with Jaxon Dart and Riley Leonard. He could move up as high as 6th but down as low as 10th. There is ZERO NFL teams going to draft him in the 1st round and outside of dumb A teams like Cleveland, none in the 2nd

You're right but I'm thinking 2nd round.

I don't believe money has anything to do with his decision. He makes more now that he can spend unless he desired bling and a Lambo. That's not the Cade I've seen for three years now.
You know he was offered big, (BIG) bucks by at least a dozen teams yet still came to Clemson to play for Dabo.

No way! If he left early, he would be a mid 6th to 7th Round. Cade is not 6’2 -he is about 6’05 perhaps 6’1 Tops and his Arm Strength is about C+ to B-. HHis Game needs further improvement and development before being considered for the 2nd Round.

He would be a fool to go unless he can find a a foolish team to draft him. He made strides in college football this year but still missed a bunch of open guys. He needs more time developing before he will be NFL ready.
