Yeah I know. I don’t care for her but I do think she’ll be a front runner.
I do like looking at her tho. 😉

I agree that she will be right in the mix. But come on people. Please no.

Not a very flattering pic. But, among politicians in DC, she’s among the prettiest by far.

I think right or wrong, Dems aren't going with a woman nominee again

I do think she'll become more of an important leader in the party, but I don't think she'll become the nominee. I think they'll go with Pete Buttigieg or a Governor (like Shapiro) before they'll go with AOC.
Still, it will be a long time before we reach 2028, and where we will be as a country by then is a huge unknown.

I don’t think Pete can win in a general. Shapiro could. Just my opinion.

I hear that often about Pete and I don't think he'd get the nomination...

but I think the biggest problem the Dems have right now is messaging, and he has been the best I've seen from the Dems at speaking to and selling their message. That doesn't make him the best choice to be the nominee, but I do think it would serve him extremely well in campaigning. Even if he's not the nominee, I hope the dem leadership give him a bigger platform to sell the country on their message.
Cynically, the most "strategic" choice they will go with will be a Governor, who is a white dude, so that's likely what they will do.

He is a good speaker but I don’t know if the country is ready for a gay president.

reminiscent of early Reagan. He can explain the whole what why where how to someone with a differing view point and do so in a respectful way. And he’s receptive to challenging opinions. He’s kind of a throwback.
Because Murica is Murica, I don’t think there is any chance in h3ll he’d win because the gay thing.

I posted in the other thread a little while ago that I read Wes says he isn’t running. I hope he changes his mind.

I think he will run. I think he is just saying he is focused on MD and that's all he cares about at the moment,.even though he says he is not running.

Bernie is part of the reason she’s gaining in popularity I think. She’s been on stage with him several times now.

My guess is that the next dem nominee will be someone that isn't really a frontrunner at the moment. The current group is so unappealing that it will be easy for someone to take the lead position if the right person comes along.

Although, I'd love to see her the 2028 competitor against JDV or maybe Ron D. A guaranteed win for pubs.

I think if she runs she will be in the debates but won't win the primary.
