I always stand for the anthem. But how do we know they arent praying for our country? After all,they are kneeling in silence. What if they yelled at those that stand for the anthem instead? That wouldnt go over very well and could lead to violence. It offends some people's religious beliefs to stand for the anthem. Jehovahs Witnesses dont stand for the anthem and dont say the pledge of allegiance in school. Just some thoughts here. Like I said, i always stand, and I sing it if there is no soloist or choir and only the band.

You’re right nothing wrong with them expressing their right to kneel. America was built on freedom that allows them to take that decision.
