I agree with you deroberts. Watson has his head on straight and truely seems to be thankful for where he is. I think he is the last player any tiger fan should worry about talking to the wrong individual. In fact many people on this board should look to Watson and Newton (today after his college days) and use them as guidance as to how to act in today's world.

So you think Watson contacting his mentor before the National Champisonship Game...where he just might have some good advice...is going to lead to Watson accepting money and cars illegally and begin back channel talks with agents?

Everyone has atleast one stupid opinion or stupid idea from time to time. I guess this one will be yours. If he were a recruit that cam was wanting to sway into committing to a certain school then it might be a valid comment to make but he isn't. I'll never understand why some people have such blind hatred for Cam Newton because the guy is genuinely a good person on and off the field.

I guess by now the entire D1 collegiate football programs should have been shut down do to pregame speeches and talks with teams. Entire teams eligibilities revoke.

Well he attended 3 different colleges , and played football at 2 of them ...so I am assuming he really has no loyalty at all to any particular school or grouping of schools on the collegiate scene .

I can relate to that . I myself had a few run-ins with bad judgement and what-not back in the late 80's .
