Milquetoast b*tch conservatives who say things like "Kyle is no hero" or "He shouldn't have been there but he had a right to defend himself."
You people are worse than commies.

Add crumbled hamburger to it and you get what we used to call S.O.S. (##### on shingles)

“Hero” is a bit hyperbolic, but I get CT’s point. Kenoshians (presumably) relied on the tax payer funded police force to provide protection of their person and property. Said “protectorate” was unable, or unwilling, to do so. Therefore, ordinary citizens like K.R. had to fill the void.

I’m in favor of privately funded security. Especially in cases where publicly funded security is inadequate or nonexistent.

We agree on most.
I also think Rittenhouse was there to get on the scoreboard, sorry. As Trevor Noah said, you don't go somewhere with an AR-15 because you feel a deep-seeded need to defend TJ Maxx, you're there because you're hoping to shoot someone, or at least to threaten them with your gun and in so doing "put them in their place", which he assuredly did not have the authority to do.
All the same you understand the verdict. That first guy shot - who clearly bore the lion's share of the responsibility and definitely did start the party - was a crazy pedophile not even a day out of the crazy bin, off his meds, and clearly mean as sh!t. The world will not miss him. The other two had records, penny-ante stuff, but they were not sterling citizens...and they were in the middle of a freaking riot, though the third guy was apparently there to "help" as well? (Forgive me if I'm a little doubtful of that too, given how shaky his story sounded.) Add it all up - including the fact that the "Paramedic" completely botched his testimony and looked shady as eff, throw in an unlikable and ineffective prosecutor, and you get a situation where a kid who killed two folks and maimed a third in a street riot walks.
I'll agree with you and Smiling Tiger: Rittenhouse shouldn't have been there, he does bear some responsibility for what happened and his judgment is clearly in question, but a murderer? I don't like him walking scot-free but I get it, especially since the inept, incompetent prosecutor didn't front-load the case with lesser charges he might be have actually been able to get a conviction on had he presented them up front instead of trying to frantically stuff them in late when it became obvious he was losing the case.
One thing is becoming obvious: people who are attracted to riots, or situations where they might occur are clearly not...the best of people. What is quaintly referred to as "social disorder" clearly brings out some really sketchy people.

I see that TJ Maxx is the narrative now. Didn’t see that in the trial, but hey, I didn’t see A LOT of stuff in the trial that has been regurgitated all summer.
The funny part to me is when people say “he took an AR-15”…omg, really an AR???? (He could have inflicted way more damage with a semi-automatic shotgun, with buck shot)
“…But…but, AR!!!!! It looks mean and white supremacy-ish!!!
I assume a person saying ignorant things about guns can only be more ignorant than the person that they heard them from.

This young man, ahead of his years, took malignant insults and misinformation spread by the unhinged MSM for over a year and emerged a winner! I applaud him. He was strong and gritty, more than many of us would have reacted.
When you take on the DNC, the POTUS, the MSM, dishonest politicized liberal lawyers, as well as terrorists like BLM, ANTIFA and Don Lemon, YOU are a HERO to 170 million Americans.
Well done. JFB
ps: I just texted the Rittenhouse family that I have a couple of nice Ferraris and a beautiful Lamborghini that Kyle might want to consider in view of his future WINDFALL from the deep pockets of CNN, MSNBC, WaPo and the rest of the MSM!
Kyle could call it the "I TOLD YOU SO" car collection OR the "MSM EXOTIC CAR GIFTs TO ME" or even the "KENOSHA KAR KOLLECTION, TYVM"
Good for Kyle.
