Concerning Rashaun Gary***

According to the announcers for the under armor game, his list has the 9 teams he came out and said were still in contention. But they also said that Mom was adamant that there is only 2 schools left in the running for him. I know she loves Clemson and is open about her love for the school so I am assuming her "final 2" are Clemson and Michigan. Don't shoot the messenger, just kind of putting two and two together.

From what I've read, his Uncle lives in Anderson and Clemson is the second school on Mom's short list. If we get a visit , we have a better chance than most think. Getting the visit is IMPORTANT.

From what Ive heard, we are getting his last visit on the weekend of the 29th. Will see if it happens. He is not a "lock" anywhere just yet.

Clemson has been the only school Mom has been on record saying her and son want to get back on campus to see recently. The only question is whether they come on an official or unofficial visit since they have means to get on our campus anytime they want with her brother being so close to the school. If we get that last official visit on Jan 29th. It's probably a lock that we're in her top 2. However, Michigan will be tough to unseat.
Dabo and Venables sell will probably be Gary will play SDE and that we'll have 6 DEs drafted in the first 2 rounds of the NFL in the last 10yrs (if you include Lawson) with Beasley, Adams, Branch, Merling, and Bowers. Also that he, Wilkins, and Lawrence could potentially form the most dominant DL in recent NCAA history.

Gary is 300lbs he's not going to be a DE. He and Lawrence and Wilkins will rotate with pagano and likely Huggins next year. Clemson rotates DT the entire game, so pt won't be an issue.

Strong side DE.
He's an athletic freak with a 4.7/40 laser time at almost 300lbs. The sell to him is SDE. He ain't coming to Clem if we sell DT. We're too stacked there.

If he was to lose about 30 pounds he would be very similar in size to Lawson. He also looks to be pretty athletic so I don't see why he doesn't have a chance at DE.

Nkimdeche is 300 lbs and plays outside some. If Gary is as advertised, he probably has the athletic ability to play there too. Either way, the guy would play next year without a doubt. It could be a truly DOMINANT front seven
