bama matchup

i just cant see their offense scoring much on us. They really dont have a downfield game, and we can stop the run. Assuming we can stop the gadget plays and not puke up on special teams, I see the rematch going our way. No D Henry and a frosh QB. They look beatable to me. It would be interesting to see the odds on a neutral field. Bama -5 or so ?

Are we playing Alabama next week? I know my local paper isn't always accurate, but the schedule I pulled out back in August shows us playing Pitt.

rematch with bama on a football message board, some of the players or coaches might read it and look past the Pitt gm. What was I thinking ?

dude, I feel ya! God forbid u try and have a discussion on a discussion board that doesn't fit within the unwritten rules of some of the losers on this board who literally scroll until they see something they don't approve of and jump all over it.

Who knows? Bama does have a deep threat when they choose to use it. It is obvious from watching the LSU game that Nick Saban had closed about 90% of Kiffin's playbook for that game. When Saban leaves Kiffin alone, their offense lights it up. All I can say is when we play Bama in the Championship game, it will be just like last year; a close, brutal battle. Hopefully, this time we come out on top.

I very vividly remember having those same feelings last year. Only to be surprised at what they brought to the natty champ game. We gave up the deep ball to their tight end, too. It was that which really hurt us.
As previously stated, Saban had a game plan in mind, lets be honest it should be 'easy' for him to defeat a team whose principles he helped establish. Kind of like us owning Oklahoma, being that Coach V came from there.
I am just stating the obvious. I think for whatever weird reason Bama played down to LSU in a sense. They would increase their performance against the flashy style of play we have. However, I think we have a broader, more experienced team this year than last year. The pressure is off now if you ask me, it just took the boys a few games to get to this point.
Long story short, our D will match their D. They are battle tested. And thank the good Lord our secondary play has been stellar. Their offense, aint worth 2 cents. Deshaun lights them up.
But they might not get the chance, Auburn applies pressure as Saban takes the same type of approach and their relatively inexperienced QB most likely chokes in that tight game and they go down! (probably not, we play them in the Natty and spank that monkey is what I am hoping for).
