Ok I understand the whole team concept and wanting what’s best for your team. And, I’m not saying Carson Wentz wanted the Eagles to lose. But, he went from being the MVP leader to watching his backup become MVP of the Super Bowl by beating Brady and Belichick. Maybe somewhere deep inside his darkest depths he is hating this a little personally.

Hopefully he understands the momentum he built during the regular season and the culture he created for the whole team. Everyone on that team believed they could win, and I think he played a big part in that

Because even if he comes back and has 5 straight great pro bowl seasons but doesn't win a super bowl... who will Eagle fans remember and treasure more? The guy that brought them their lone Super Bowl title.
The pressure on Wentz to win one goes up immensely now.

be ready for week 1. Its not like Watson who got hurt relatively early in the season. They were talking about it on Golic and Golic this morning. It will depend on the price offered vs where they think Wentz is in rehab process or if they are willing to maybe go a few games next season with an unproven backup if they trade Foles and Wentz isnt ready to go.

So if Wentz comes back say, week 10 and the Eagles are undefeated with Foles you think they go "Thanks for everything Nick, now have a seat."

Umm, if Foles plays while Wentz is still injured and leads them to a good record you think it'll be easy to put Wentz in?

I always hate those scenarios. Unless Wentz goes on to win multiple SB's, it'll be Foles the Eagles remember for winning the first SB and beating the Pats on top of it. Def puts a lot of pressure on Wentz, and most will say its that RPO system they run more so then the QB now.

He absolutely has, and I didn’t expect any different. He’s a stand up guy, but o feel bad for the guy. Yes, he’s a Super Bowl champion and helped the Eagles get there, but there will always be an asterisk. I hope he gets one on his own
