Wing forward Bobby Durkin from Davidson to Minnesota. I wonder if the commit Carter Welling is considered more for the wing forward a lot and this scared Durkin away. LINK:

How long until JK posts on this topic by somehow insulting another program and then attempts to gaslight anyone for extending the comparison he started to it’s natural conclusion by saying he is being targeted and calling such responses off topic?

what saying "he was a bad fit"? lol
BTW I don't think it's an awful loss. Got the two main targets wanted but was excited about the possible length on the front court with 6-10 Davidson, 6-10 Welling, and 6-7 Durkin. Still considered for more top wing targets. Maybe the plan is for Godfrey to play at the 3 some also.

we have way more needs than the 2 we got. We have no scoring from the wings and/or guards coming back and badly need some perimeter shooting with experience. At this point even with the recruiting class coming in we still are way short of a full roster unless you are counting walk ons. minimum 6-7 transfers are needed, it is a must to find a true scorer on the perimeter that is proven at this level.

I don't know where this notion of Godfrey playing wing has come from. It isn't happening. He can't handle the ball. Saying he is going to play the wing is like saying Ian was a wing. Can he step out and make a three? Maybe. But he isn't a ball handler, and we'll be hurting (BADLY) if he's a regular at that position.
Plus...Brownell's best teams (and best rotations on those teams) have seen us play three guards...I'd think that's the goal for next year's team as well.

you aren't going to get every person you go after. First of all Brad and Clemson aren't so respected and desired that every person who chooses not to come here must have some flaw such as fear. Same with Dabo to be fair, everytime someone doesn't come here doesn't mean they have a flaw or that Dabo didn't do his job. We are not going to get everyone.

I basically said that in a response. i just heard Clemson was leading for him late last week, so just was a little surprised. got the two top targets wanted a dependable front court player in Godfrey. there are plenty of targets out there still.
