Yahoo article on recruiting numbers

Just read an interesting article about how recruiting for the next 3 years will be affected by the COVID extra year of eligibility. The Transfer Portal also plays a huge part in the numbers and there is concern that hundreds of potential transfers will wind up having no school to attend. David Hood, how about a story of what our coaches are doing about numbers this year and what the thinking is for the next couple of years about this big mess?

This is a problem the transfers will have to deal with. They are the ones wanting to go.

19 in 2022 and 23-24 in 2023. Why do you need a story?

You might try actually reading the Yahoo article. If you think those are the correct numbers you are more than ill advised. There is now the new variable of COVID eligibility because the extra year factors in for at least 3 classes, plus those turning pro early and now the Portal. The 85 scholarship goes back into effect next year so there is no possible way of knowing how many spots are available. Do your homework.

Just because the player has an extra year of eligibility it does not mean Clemson has to keep a player on the roster
