Vic Beasley ran a laser-timed 40 at what, 4.53 at 246lbs and people are STILL talking about it. I find it hard to believe any 260lber can run a 4.42.
I meant Dwight Freeney ran a 4.48 at 270lb... not sure if that was laser or hand-timed though. 2001 was a long time ago

Vernon Davis ran a 4.38 40 at 260 pounds at the combine.

This time last year, 5 guys on Auburn's team were claiming sub-4.2 laser 40 times and I ended up watching Franklin run for negative yards in person. I'm not saying it isn't true, or freaks like Freeney & Davis don't exist... I'm just saying it's an anomaly at this point, especially when it's coming from that athlete's camp / high school coach. I've heard enough fairytales to be weary these days.

I just find it hard to believe. If he'd did then it's unofficial. I know the NFL combine has some sort of criteria they go by before releasing official times. If he ran it only once then that makes it even harder to believe.

Doubt it was Fully Automated Timing . I'm sure it was hand stopwatch for the start and laser finish which means you should add about .24 to the time

There was a coot telling him to come and be the face of usuc. I told the coot that Xavier Thomas would have kids in HS before usuc made it to their 1st playoff game and get beat down!!!

No chance! Only 2 out of 37 wide receivers ran a 4.4 or below at the NFL combine last year. He may be fast but he's not that fast.
